Cattle farm with organic cultivation since 1989, between Olot and Camprodon, not very far from the Natural Volcanic Park of The Garrotxa. The region is of great geological and scenic interest with many old farmhouses, Romanesque and medieval buildings; sources of inspiration for painters from the Olot School of landscape artists since the early 19th century. The farmhouse, ancestrally owned by the family Cabrafiga for over 500 years is surrounded by woods and fields where and Spanish horses graze.

The other buildings were constructed during the 18th century on the southerly side of the mountain. From the house there's a beautiful view looking out onto the quiet valley of Sant Pere Despuig. Here, three of the sixteen Romanesque churches of the area are to be found, one of which, Santa Llúcia del Puigmal has a river closeby that is perfect for swimming in or fishing.
The property consists of the owners' house, and three separate dwellings with swimming pool, games room (Ping-Pong, billiards and table football), and washing machine.

The big house is 200m2, with three double bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large kitchen with chimney. There's also a gallery with characteristic arches, which lead out into the garden, where there are century old green oaks, and a barbecue. |

The second lodging is smaller and has two double bedrooms, kitchen-dining room, bathroom and garden.
Finally we have " La Cabanya", the old straw barn of the house, which is separated from the main house by a patio.

Furthermore you can go horse-riding, with lessons available. Excursions on foot or by 4 wheel drive are possible. We have bicycles for hire and plenty of information about cultural activities or adventure sports like hot air ballooning, climbing, canoeing or archery.
The nearest ski resort, Vallter 2000, is some 40Km away, and we are 13 Km from Olot (25.000 pop), capital of the Garrotxa with two museums and many art galleries. |
